This Grape Agate is sourced from Indonesia. A small area of Mamuju is the only place Grape Agate is currently found. While the name Grape Agate is fun and what it is widely known as, Grape Agate is not actually an Agate at all, but a bunch of tiny botryoidal quartz crystals. Micronized Quartz or Chalcedony make up this lovely and unique stone. Like Quartz, its colors will range from white, gray, green, blue and of course purple.
